Intel Ivy Bridge

Rumors presence Bulldozer architecture will be made by AMD seems to have come really makes its competitors feel inflamed lately. Associated with it, one of Intel's main competitor AMD is based in Sunnyvale reportedly are planning to develop its future processors are Intel 22nm Ivy Bridge.

So far, Intel's own party has not given the official publication relating to the release date of the fleet of processors Ivy Bridge. And even that estimate was thought that the possibility of new architecture will be released ahead of the CES in 2012.

While a publication through the official site KitGuru recently, reportedly Intel company based in Santa Clara now it is considering the development of Ivy Bridge processor which is likely to be present in order to emulate the existence of a faster processor made by AMD's first Bulldozer.

Bulldozer desktop version of the coded name of the Zambezi is expected to be launched on June 11, 2011. And as a beginning, AMD itself reportedly will introduce four models of processors at once that packaged 4 to 8 core processing. Processor of this type will be built using 32nm SOI fabrication node, feature 8MB of L3 cache, supporting technologies and the Black Series Turbo Core which allows the application of a multiplier unlocked.

Meanwhile, Ivy Bridge Intel Sandy Bridge architecture is based on clearly carries two or four processing cores and built using 22nm SOI fabrication process. Ivy Bridge processor is also equipped with features compatible GPU with DirextX 11, which can pack 30% more EUS and supports up to three different display screens at once and HDMI 1.4a, PCI Express Gen 3 integrated controller and video encoding has been improved, the ability decoding and transcoding.

As with other 32nm relatives, it turns out Ivy Bridge processor which incidentally included in this latest 22nm relatives reportedly use the same socket LGA 1155 and will be launched simultaneously with the Panther Point chipset that carries up to four ports support USB 3.0 as well.
